Boston Celtics guard Jaylen Brown could be free from any minutes restriction now that he has returned from an injured hamstring, according to head coach Ime Udoka at his press conference Thursday. Udoka said they wanted to keep Brown at or under 30 minutes in his first game back, but anticipates that Brown will either be without restriction or will have an increasing restriction over the next few games.
“Yeah, we haven’t even discussed minutes, other than the first game. Keeping him around 30, three days of no game, of rest. Obviously getting back to where he was,” Udoka said.
Guard Josh Richardson has returned from health and safety protocols ahead of the Celtics’ game against the Golden State Warriors Friday.
