Second-year Boston Celtics small forward Aaron Nesmith made the leap out of the proverbial frying into the fire that was last season’s Celtics.

High-energy play and eventually finding his shot earned him a role by season’s end, but now the former Vanderbilt player has had a chance to work on his game and believes it will help Boston in its 2021-22 campaign. “Last year, I got drafted and camp started like two days later.

“I’m eager to get started after the way last season ended, for the team and me personally,” he added.
