Fans of the Boston Celtics and Bruins had better get used to bringing their coronavirus vaccination cards or a negative test result to gain access to TD Garden to watch games. No news yet on how recent the COVID-19 test needs to be, but over-the-counter tests will not be accepted – only molecular PCR or rapid antigen tests administered by professionals. Those with proof of vaccination must be at least 14 days removed from their full vaccination shot to gain entry via that route.

UPDATE: Effective September 30, TD Garden, Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics will require all guests 12 years and older to present proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 OR a qualifying negative COVID-19 test to gain access to the arena.
