The Boston Celtics traded short-timer point guard Kris Dunn and soon-to-be third-year guard Carsen Edwards to the Memphis Grizzlies for power forward Juancho Hernangomez on Friday, himself recently dealt to Memphis from the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The 6-foot-9 Spaniard might be a bit of a mystery to most Celtics fans apart from the few times per year his teams have played Boston since he came into the league as the 15th pick of the 2016 NBA draft. A solid if not knockdown career 3-point shot at 35.1% with career averages of 5.7 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, Hernangomez also has a brother, Willy, who plays for the New Orleans Pelicans.
