Hall of Fame Boston Celtics point guard Bob Cousy is getting a statue in his adopted hometown of Worcester, Massachusetts, per the Associated Press. The statue honoring the Celtic and Holy Cross great will be unveiled at the Digital Federal Credit Union Center in downtown Worcester to honor the basketball legend in the city he’s called home for over seven decades.
A six-time NBA champion and 13-time All-Star among many other honors, Cousy is a most worthy candidate for a statue immortalizing him in the city where his basketball career began.
