The Boston Celtics continued their downward spiral Wednesday night, falling in spectacular fashion to the Atlanta Hawks on the road 127-112, allowing the Hawks to score with ease, particularly from beyond the arc, where Atlanta shot just under 55%.
The Hawks actually shot better from 3 than overall, which should give one an idea of the level of defensive intensity shown by the Celtics for most of the contest. Veteran guard Jeff Teague added 14 points while a trio of Celtics chipped 13 points apiece: Jayson Tatum, Tristan Thompson and rookie Aaron Nesmith. Co/B5IbJCxxjM
